Every three minutes, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer. Every ten minutes, blood cancer takes a life. You can help us make a difference.

After Erik Sauer's leukemia diagnosis in 2009, he founded There Goes My Hero as a 501(c)-3 nonprofit to help other patients. His goal was to bring hope to those who are living with leukemia and other blood cancers, knowing how difficult the journey is for patients and their families.

Every year, with the support of donations, we continue to fulfill our mission to provide hope to blood cancer patients and their families by increasing bone marrow registrants, diversifying the bone marrow registry, and providing patients services for those struggling with the unanticipated costs of treatment.
